What an unfortunate day before yesterday.
It all started with a broken plate. LOL.
I was washing my plate when somehow it slipped, fell into the sink and broke. I stared at it in horror because to my family, when you break a plate, it's bad luck. LOL. Superstitious, I know.
But I just brushed it off since it was an accident.
The next day, on the way back from the library, I realized my cardholder is gone and inside my cardholder are all my identity cards and most importantly my debit card. But I thought that I left it in my room as usual and head to my room.
Then when I reached my room, I realized my key is gone.
There I was, stuck outside of my door feeling hungry and exhausted. Thankfully, my friend sent me the senior resident's number who came and unlock the door for me. (thank god she didn't enter my room, it's a total pig sty)
Before I can heave a sigh of relief, I realized my cardholder is gone.
I panicked and upturn my drawers and cupboards but it was really gone. So, I quickly checked my balance online to see if anyone stole it but thankfully the money is still there. Then, I called up the bank to cancel my card.
Thank god I listened to my mom's advice and withdrew some money beforehand or not I'm gonna starve this entire week. LOL I think she can foresee that I'll lose my card one day cause she kept reminding me not to lose it. sigh and I successfully did.
So later that night, I logged on to my email and suddenly, someone said my cards and key were found in the library!!!
I was like THANK YOU GOD!!! For giving me the broken plate as a warning and saving my life in the end! lol, dramatic.
Anyway, I found them at last, and I really want to thank to the person who so kindly handed them in without nicking anything. If it's in Malaysia, sure gone already!
I really gotta be careful in the future! Don't wanna go through this heart attack again omg.
Till then,
pikee
