It feels so nice to just go out and look at the blue sky, the daffodils and daisies blooming and feel the lovely breeze. It's really nice to take a stroll outside whenever I need a breather.
I'm starting to love daisies. :)
So pretty :)
So, what will I be doing during the holidays?
1) STUDY.
LOL, yeah I think I mentioned a few times that I have loads of stuff to cram into my brain for the exams after Easter holidays. It won't be fun I know but it's all worth it! Just a month of suffering and then 3 months of awesome summer holidays in Malaysia! :)
2) Day in London
I will be going to London for a day trip to meet up some friends and to watch a musical! I'm quite excited since I LOVE watching musicals. So far I watched Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Thriller and Wicked! I'll be adding Les Miserebles to the list. :) I know it's definitely good judging from the good reviews and the queue outside the theater when I was there last December. It was on the weekday afternoon so that's saying something.
3) Exercise
Whenever I go chat with family and friends from back home, the first thing they will say is WAH FAT ALREADY. Which kinds of annoy me a bit because when I was stick thin, everyone asked me to gain more weight and now when I did, I'm apparently too fat.
LOL.
But, I admit I gained A LOT of weight. I bought a weighing machine two months ago and my jaw literally dropped when the screen displayed my weight. I was like IMPOSSIBLE, so I weighed an item which I can't remember and its weight is true to the description on the box. T_T
I shall not reveal my weight here, not because I'm ashamed but because I don't want my mom to get a heart attack in case she reads this here. HAHA. hi mom lol
But yeah, thinking back, I snacked a lot. I used to think digestive biscuits are healthy cause they help you to shit LOL but I learned from my nutrition lectures, they are super fattening! Especially the milk chocolates one which I love to death. One biscuit has about 1.1 g of saturated fat and the maximum we can eat a day is 20g. I usually finish one whole packet in one go (yeah greedy I know) and it's not surprising my thighs are jiggly now LOL.
SO, I vow to only snack on fresh fruits and go jogging every morning! Let's see if it's a success.
Ok, sorry, I'll start tomorrow because I'm snacking on Oreos now and my strawberries are rotten.
4) Learn to cook more dishes!
After a few months here, I can say now that my cooking skills are rather stable now. Stable as in they won't cause me diarrhea. LOL. There are a few dishes that I want to cook and I will buy the ingredients tomorrow. I shall keep you all updated!
I'm going to make this! Wish me luck :)
5) Drink 8 glasses of water everyday
Apart for good health, I also want perfect skin! I bought this scrub from body shop which is really really good! My face feels so smooth after one wash. It's a pore cleansing facial exfoliator infused with seaweed goodness. Remember to moisturise after using a scrub to rehydrate your skin!
And, I got that body butter worth 12 pounds for FREE! That's why I like online shopping sometimes.
6. Sleep early!
This is absolutely crucial. Lately my sleeping habit is just so horrible. I would take a nap from 6pm to 11pm, wake up, take my dinner/supper and sleep at 3/4 am. I am totally zombified the next morning and I would doze off during lectures.
But I think it's taking a toll on my body. Now, I would just sleep through the alarm. Sad to say, I missed morning lectures which made me feel really guilty since I don't skip them. The worst part is I set not one, but FIVE alarms butI was far far away in my own slumberland to register the annoying ringtone. SIGH. I'm quite worried actually. What if it happens during my exam? :(
So, yeah, I'm gonna sleep early perhaps before 12 am and wake up at 8am. LOL, I realize I'm getting too ambitious with my list here. Chances are, I'm not gonna do half of them. LOL.
Anyway, I guess that's it!
Till then,
pikee
