Since it's kind of mandatory for students to do a health check up before enrolling into universities, I figured I should do it too.
So, my sister and I head to the BP lab to get our blood tested. eek.
That was actually my second time getting it. The first time I did was in Assunta Hospital and the nurse forgot to swab my arm before injecting me. LOL. After that, she even asked me "Ehh, you ok ar?" LOL. Yeah, other than the fact that I might die of bacterial infection, it's cool.
haha, sorry that's just the paranoid side of me speaking.
Blood tests aren't that scary for me because it's not really that painful. It's better than getting your little toe knocked at the corner of the table. Or getting hot oil on your hand. Or getting chilli padi into your eyes. (ouch ouch ouch)
But, it's my sister's first time and she was a tad terrified. And I also did my part as a good sister by telling her how majorly painful it is. Hee, you're welcome.
Haha, see! She looked away :P
When it was my turn, I decided to look at the needle since I never got the chance to see during my first time. (fine, I was terrified that time, gimme a break) But I was getting anxious as she took quite a long time to locate my vein. It did stung a little when the needle pierced through my skin but nevertheless I tried to put on a brave face.
But, I guess my "brave face" did not fool anyone cause the nurse looked at my expression and said "Yeah, I know it's painful, don't worry it's almost done"
LOL. FAIL.
After she removed the needle, she placed a little cotton wool on my wound to stop the bleeding. But I guess she did not apply enough pressure to it, cause after she removed the wool, droplets of blood welled up from the little puncture. And she didn't noticed it until i said OOH, blood. Then she frantically take a new wool and press on it.. HARD. ouch.
So, tadah! There's our little adventure of the day.
Till then.
