Haircuts :(

Since I do not have anything better to do, I should blog! (the laundry can just wait)

So, what's up with me lately?

Well, for starters, I got a rather disaster hair cut. I just wanted my bangs to be trimmed a little and the hairstylist cut it a tad too short. So, I quote my sister, I "look like a China doll"

I never like getting my haircut cause I have a slight phobia towards hair salons. All my life, I never exactly have a good experience with salons.

When I was young, I was very short (okay, I'm still short now, happy? LOL)
So, she would bring out a plank of wood from her store room, placed it on both of the chair's hand rests and call me to sit on it. SIT!!

Oh my god, the humiliation of sitting on the plank is one of the worst humiliation mankind can experience. I can feel the stares of the old aunties and their snickering.

Then as I grow older, my eyesight deteriorates, to the point of no return. LOL. They gotten so bad, till I can't see my own reflection in the mirror. Which just makes things worse than it already is.

I hate it when the hairstylist asks me "is this short enough?" I have to squint like crazy and worse still, things seem longer when they're blurred out. So I often end up with my hair shorter than I would like it to be.

So whenever the hairstylist holds up a mirror so I could see my hair at the back, I would just say yeh yeh, it's okay cause I couldn't see a thing. In fact, it's not  "yeh yeh" nor "it's okay" most of the time. T_T  and I don't have enough strength to go back to the torture chamber again.

I remember I had a super disaster haircut in form 4 or form 5. My hair was shorter than a boy's and because it's too short, it seems a bit spiky at the ends. My teacher asked me whether a rat had bitten all my hair off. BOOHOOO T_T  The only person who said it's nice is Sarah Lois! So if you're reading this, thank you so much! It did cheered me up a little although I know it's a white lie. haha!! :)

That time, I sorely wanted to go to Yun Nam hair care or buy a hair growth tonic but sadly, my mom wouldn't let. Which is rather understandable since hair do grow about half an inch per month. :(

So now all I can do is just wait for my hair to grow out.

There goes my hair misadventures. Till then. :)
