Taking a sorely needed break from electromagnetic induction. :)
Physics is difficult. :(
Due to our physics test, my teacher allowed us to take back our exam paper to do. yeah i know, weird! His rules were
1) you're allowed to dicuss with your friends
2) you're allowed to refer to the book for formulas
3) but NO copying.
double wth.
How nice if all exams are like that :) no more students would throw themselves out of the buildings anymore. hey! i think i might have a case here :)
Anway, my week had been pretty good. I just finished my IELTS exam last saturday. Honestly, I think I did pretty badly for it, dont know why.
Last Wednesday, we all went to the idp centre in subang to take our speaking test.
I remembered feeling nervous because like i mentioned before, I'm lousy in oral tests. The good thing is we get to skip class! :)
So, we were sent to the waiting room for our turns. We discussed about the potential topics that would come out ranging from polution to why kids run away from home. LOL
Charmaine was the first to go and we were looking at each other fearfully as she stepped out of the room. The atmosphere was full of tension (well, maybe to me only) and it kind of resembled the prisoners waiting for their death sentece. LOL overdramatic.
Finally after an hour or so, I and Yu Chen was instructed to sit outside the rooms. There were 3 rooms. The first and the third were occupied by matsallehs while the second one was by an Indian lady.
We both have fun laughing at the way the examiner sits. From our point of views, we could only see their legs.
In the first room, his legs were crossed at the ankles to the side. (why like princess diaries wan? LOL)
In the second room, she took off her shoes and shook her legs like there's no tomorrow. (WTH)
In the third room, both of his feet are planted vertically on the ground. (pro!)
I went into room 1 and I was greeted by a ruddy middle aged man. He was really friendly and that put me at ease.
Sigh, sadly i think i answered in a non professional way. When he asked me bout the useful skills i learnt, i said driving. And i told him all the misfortunes i had (rammning into the poles, failed exam twice etc etc) and
he laughed T________________________T
and when he asked me whether i like laboratories, i said no because i always break the test tubes and beakers.
he laughed again T_____________________T
I was looking forward for a serious test but it was actually very light hearted and funny. I don't know whether that's a good sign or not but hopefully i can get a decent mark.
Funny, I don't feel that relieved the whole exam was over, in fact, I feel more stressed. Because there's a pile of homeworks waiting for me to complete. Not to mention the maths exam next tuesday which i have yet to study. (shit you complex numbers and argand diagrams!)
Mock exam is a month away! i bet everyone is stressed out now. Hope my brain could digest everything that i'm trying to cram in without breaking down LOL.
This morning, my sister and I went to midvalley to watch the black swan!
I was eagerly anticipating to watch this movie cause the trailer looks intruiging and natalie portman is so pretty! she got a nice nose.
Well, overall the movie was.... confusing. LOL i don't know exactly how to give a review cause it's pretty hard to explain what was going on. I shall leave this for the next post.
But overall, i guess the movie is okay.
Okay shall head back to my homeworks now. till then!
