I am infamously known for my lousy cooking skill.
yeah, no doubt about that. Once, i tried to fry an egg and halfway, i realised i forgotten to add the oil first. no wonder the stupid egg was stuck to the pan.
other than boiling hot water and cooking maggi mee, i realiseed i can make TONG YUENS , thanks to my grandma. :)
First time i made it, it was undercooked (trust me, raw flour doesnt taste good) and the second time, it was hard as a rock. grandma gave me a lot of constructive critisims (naggings and lectures) and after a few tries, i did it! :D *standing ovation*
it's not the perfect tong yuens in the world but at least it's better than burnt eggs right?
so, we made some during the winter solstice festival a week ago i think
my family prefer making small and cute balls like this instead of those giant ones sold in restaurants. easier for grandma to chew also. :D
it's my mini tradition! i like making snowman tong yuens. LOL .
i wanted to eat my snowman but i realised it was missing from my bowl. then i realised mom gave it to grandma to be prayed. wth. never got to eat it. T.T
nvm, anything for a holy snowman! wth
i scream you scream we scream for ... er tong yuens? :P
till then. <>
